TMNT 2k12: The New Kids in Town Part 2

Karai went to Shredder, since he called her. She bowed before him. “Karai, I have learned that you had the opportunity to dispatch Leonardo.”
“Really?”
“But, you let him go, instead.”
“That’s not true. He escaped.”
“I find that hard to believe.” He gave her a stern look.
“He escaped from you, didn’t he?” She’s been having the same smirk on her face the whole conversation. He growled.
“Enough!” She flinched, & started to get scared. He walked towards her, & she kneeled, with her head almost to the floor. He took out the blades from his gauntlet, & put it right next to her neck. “The next time you see Leonardo, you must finish him!” Karai was a little frightened. She doesn’t want to kill Leo, she actually wants to be his friend. “Understood?” She raised her head a little bit.
“I understand, father.” He walks back to his throne.
“You know that I trust you, my daughter. But, in case your instincts are not fortunate, I will send your siblings to come with you. Come, my children.” Three other people, about Karai’s age, walked in, & bowed at Karai’s level. 2 were boys, & 1 was another girl. The girl has long black hair w/white highlights, & white eyeliner w/white lipstick, & 2 eye piercings. One of the boys have black hair up to his shoulders, w/a tongue piercing. And, the other boy has black hair about a little shorter than the other girl’s. Plus, he has a streak of red hair. He also has a huge scar on the back of his neck. “Jasmine, Takeo, Rouga you will all back-up for your sister if or when she needs you.”
“Yes, father.” They all said at the same time.
“Good. Dismissed.” They got up, bowed at their master & father, then left the room.

Daniella, Raph & Don were running to the lair, carrying Mikey. “Help!” Raph called to Splinter. He came out of the dojo, hurried to them & pointed at the couch.
“Set him down.” Don & Raph put Mikey down on the couch, & Daniella saw that Splinter was looking at her. “Who is this?” The two turtles explained what happened, & Raph mostly did the talking. “The good news is that you found Charlotte’s sister.” He just noticed that the leader of the group is missing. “Where is Leonardo?”
“I don’t know. Sensei, this is a disaster & it’s all my fault. I don’t know what happened, I just froze up. I have no problem risking my own life, but...risking my brothers.” Splinter was checking Michelangelo, sensing how he’s doing. Then he sighed, knowing that he’s alive. “Now, you know the price of leadership. Responsibility.”
“Yeah, I hate it.” Raph admitted.
“So, you understand Leonardo’s burden.” Raph nodded.
“We need him back...I need him back.”
“Then, go get him. Get Charlotte as well.” Splinter said, walking back to the dojo.
“But, Sensei. I don’t know where they are.”
“Leo’s going to the biyearly building.” Don blurted. Raph gave him a look saying, ‘How do you know that?’ He held up his T-Phone. “April texted me.” He gasped, realizing what he just said. “April texted ME!” He stood up, with his arms out. “Oh, this is the best day!” He heard Mikey groaning in pain, & he stopped. Daniella gave him a glare, & rubbed the back of his neck. “Well, I mean, it’s had its ups & downs.”

Karai was getting ready to go to the biyearly building, since it’s almost midnight. But, three other figures stopped her. She sighed & put her hand on her hip. “What do you three want?”
“Father told us to back-up for you, remember?” Takeo said.
“Ok. And?”
“You were about to leave without us.” Jasmine retorted.
“Well, you’re here now.”
“That’s not the point!”
“Then, what is the point?!” She crossed her arms, obviously pissed.
“The point is, you can't keep doing things that will get you in trouble, Karai. You can’t keep disobeying father’s orders!” Rouga said.
“So what, guys? Shouldn’t we be able to have fun? Make our own decisions? Jasmine, you out of all people should know about this.”
“It was fun when we were 13, but now we’re 16. We have to be more responsible.” Karai looked behind them, they looked & when they looked back, she was gone.
“Damn it, Karai!” Takeo growled. “I thought she knew better.” He looked down in shame. Jasmine put her hand on his shoulder.
“Don’t blame yourself, brother. I know you are overprotective of her, & the fact that you’re the leader. But, you cannot bring yourself down like this.” He nodded.
“You’re right.” He did a backflip & landed right next to the exit. “Come on, she can’t be far.” The three Saki’s left the lair, hoping to find their sister.

Charlotte finally decided to go on another patrol, since the police has no sign of Daniella. (STILL) She looked at her family's shop. It has the sword of her, who knows how many greats, grandfather, Miyamoto Musashi. Then, she saw something really not-so-shocking. Leo was on top of the biyearly building with Karai. She listened even closer to the conversation. “It’s ancient, it’s priceless, & it’s yours. If, you help me.” ‘I think I know what she needs help with.’ Charlotte said in her head. “You know what. We're gonna steal it.” Karai responded to Leo’s question. Charlotte started to worry. She would normally feel fine about it, since Leo knows that’s her family’s sword. But, he obviously has a crush on Karai. She out of all people know what crushes can do to you. What if he likes her that much, that he actually wants to help her. There’s only one way to find out, right? So, stop worrying, & start listening.
“No, we’re not.” He said. Charlotte relieved a little sigh of relief. Just a little. If she knew anything about Karai, it’s that she has ways of getting what she wants. She’s been wanting to get her hands on that sword for years, but neither her, or Shredder accomplished that goal. Now she finally has the chance.
“C’mon, that sword’s just sitting there, collecting dust! You know you deserve that katana. Certainly more than some lazy rich family.” ‘That’s it! I’m gonna kill her! How dare she?!’ Once someone insults her family, that’s where they cross the line 20 times. She walks next to him. “Stop being responsible, Leo.” She kneels down his level, while he’s still thinking about the sword. “Stop waiting for people to give you the life you want. Go out, & take it.” What none of them knew, is that three other shadows were with them. Yep, you know who.
“No.” Leo said. He looked away from her face right next to him. She gave him a mad/disappointed look, & stood up.
“I’m getting that sword, Leo. With or without your help. Choose.”
“I can’t. It’s wrong.”
“You’re starting to bore me.” She was about to grab her sword, but Leo grabbed her hand.
“Karai, you don’t have to do this.” ‘I think I’m gonna be sick.’ Jasmine said in her head.
“I know, that’s what makes it fun!” She flips him to the ground.
“Leo!” They all saw Raph running towards them. “What-what’re you doing?! Who’s she?!” Leo hesitated for a moment.
“U-um, Raph, Karai. Karai, Raph.” He gestured with his free hand.
“What’re you?! Friends with her?!” Charlotte saw Takeo, about to throw a knife at Raph, then Charlotte immediately blocked it with her double-bladed sword.
“Charlotte.”
“Karai.” She turned her head, seeing Karai smirking at her. “Stop smirking. Your siblings are here.” Karai widened her eyes.
“WHAT?!” The three others made their appearance, holding their weapons. Karai took out her Tanto. “How did you find me?!”
“The real question is, why haven’t you destroyed any of them yet?!” Takeo asked coldly.
“I’m not 10 years old anymore, Takeo! I make my own choices!” She growled.
“HELLO!” Everyone looked at Charlotte. “As much as I love hearing you guys fight, we have bigger problems than you three. Much bigger.” They all saw Snakeweed approach them.
“I found you, turtles.”
“Oh, thank God.” Leo mumbled before everyone took out their weapons. The Foot siblings back up, while the rest deal with Snakeweed. They block an attack.
“Allofusforgiveyouifyou’retheleaderagain.Welcomeback.” They were dodging & slicing, until Leo saw Karai at the edge of the building, & Karai only. He got caught by Snakeweed & is holding an entrance to the rooftops to try to loosen his grip. Raph was having a little trouble with Snakeweed’s other arm.
“Karai! Karai, please! Help!” Leo pleaded. She threw her sword to Leo’s head. He ducked, but when he had his head straight, it was right above him. She smirks.
“Sayonara.” Then, she jumps off the building. She meets her siblings on the top of a rooftop a few blocks away.
“Where were you?! Helping them?!” Rouga asked, extremely pissed.
“No. I just wanted to watch.”
“Where’s your sword?” Takeo points to where her Tanto usually is on her back.
“That weed-thing knocked it out of my hand!” She acted furious as if it actually happened. She sighed. “Let’s just go home.”
“And, what do we tell father?” Jasmine asked.
“We say that we searched for the turtles, but we couldn’t find them. There, problem solved.” She ran off, back to their lair, & the others sighed & followed her. Back to the weed situation, Leo grabbed the sword & sliced the weed with it & kicked him in the face. Raph managed to cut him too & got free.
“Raph, follow me. I got an idea.”
“You’re the boss.” Raph followed his brother to the streets. Then, the weed made it right after they did, & knocked them to a wall. “Now what?”
“We charge him.”
“Really?” Raph asked.
“Trust me. Let’s move.” Leo & Raph charged him, & he kicked him in the heart (FINALLY!!!) which made him not breathe for a couple of seconds. Raph held him off, while Leo got a gallon of liquid nitrogen. Leo tried to put some in his mouth, put he blocked it. He thought he took all of it aside, but Leo held one behind his back. He shoved it in his mouth & kicked it in, making sure. “Raph! Now!” He threw his sai at the gallon & Snakeweed was frozen. Raph jumped over him & cut him to chunks.
“Booyakasha!!!” They both look at what’s left of Snakeweed. “Nice work.” Leo smiled.
“Thanks. Good to be back.”
“And uhh...sorry.” Leo put his hand by his ‘ear’
“What’d you say? I couldn’t hear.”
“He said he’s sorry, Leo.” They both looked at Charlotte on the roof.
“Charlotte?! Where the hell have you been?!” Raph asked.
“Up here, Sherlock. I just wanted to see you guys make up.” She smirked. The 2 turtles looked at each other.
“You are one sneaky girl.” Leo said.
“Aww, thanks Leo! It’s a talent.” She jumps down, to join them.
“C’mere you” Raph ruffled her hair, & she giggled. She put her arms around their shoulders & they left. But, they didn’t notice a heart of weed beating once again.

When the turtles & Charlotte got back to the lair, they saw Daniella unconscious on the couch & Mikey awake. Master Splinter & Donnie explained that she must think that she was dreaming this whole time. I mean, she just met the Miyamoto’s. It is far too early to meet them. Daniella won’t remember anything about tonight. But, she’ll be ok. Plus, she was the one who woke up Mikey. Don told her that he’s obsessed with pizza, so she found a pepperoni pizza in the kitchen, & he instantly woke up when it was under his nostrils. Charlotte took her home & has been waiting for her to wake up for 3 hours. She finally wakes up. “Dani!” She hugged her before her eyes adjusted.
“Charlotte?” She backed up from the hug for a second.
“Yeah, it’s me.” She immediately went back into the hug when she saw her face. She explained why she even left in the first place & apologized like, a million times. She held her shoulders & signed to her. “Dani, it’s ok. I know what those girls can do to you.” They both had tears of joy in their eyes. But Daniella’s has a hint of sorrow inside them too. She giggled a little. Charlotte looked at her in confusion.
“You won’t believe the dream I had.” She smiled. ‘Oh yeah, that.’
“Well, I can’t wait to hear it.” She told her how she ‘dreamt’ that she was kidnapped by a mutant weed & ninja turtle mutants rescued her. She went to bed when her sister was surely asleep. She thought about what she said a few minutes ago. ‘Oh Charlotte, I wish they were real!’ She sighed. ‘They are real, Dani. And, I can’t wait for you to meet them properly. I just hope you’ll forgive me.’
